The original name of the village was "Nowa Białka" and it runs for over 8 km. From the south side of the village there is a wide valley to the Belianske Tatras thanks to which Białka Tatrzańska is very sunny, taking into account the mountain climate.

In terms of tourism, it is one of the most attractive mountain resorts. There are here ideal conditions for practicing winter sports.

There are several ski resorts in Białka:

  • Kotelnica Białczańska Ski Resort
  • Bania Ski Lifts
  • Kaniówka Ski Station.

The Kotelnica Białczańska ski resort won the honorable title of the best ski resort in 2017 ski resort in Poland - Poland's Best Ski Resort 2017.
The Białka River is suitable for practicing e.g whitewater kayaking and rafting, and the surrounding hills are also used by paragliders.

In Białka Tatrzańska since 2011 there is also Terma Bania, where the water in pools is mineral water that, thanks to the energy of the Earth, reaches a high temperature and makes it thermal water containing: sulphides, silica, potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron.

Such baths reduce stress, facilitate relaxation and restore psychophysical balance l They also improve blood pressure and metabolism, support the weight loss process, eliminate headaches and insomnia, accelerate convalescence, eliminate diseases and skin imperfections, visibly improving its appearance.
